How To Measure An Envelope

When communicating horizontal window dimensions, always state the height first followed by the length. When plotting the window position, it is critical that the envelope flap is extended and at the top of the envelope. We will always assume the window is horizontal to the flap unless otherwise indicated. Customers should always provide the window position from the LEFT and BOTTOM of the envelope.

Things to remember:

Size – height/length, horizontal/vertical Position – left/bottom, face/back/flap Patch Material – open/poly/glassine/cello/EarthFirst® compostable 4.

Shape/Style – square/oval/ pistol grip, etc.
